The challenge: Visualising a new sports floor
A new sports floor is an opportunity to do more than replace the old one. With fresh, contemporary colours and a simple yet striking logo, a sports hall can be transformed into a modern, welcoming space that inspires pride in its facilities and branding.
Our visualisation service helps bring these ideas to life, allowing customers to explore colour combinations, court layouts and branding before making their final decision.
From concept to completion
In January 2026, South Devon College approached us as they planned to replace their existing wooden sports floor with a new Taraflex® sports vinyl floor. They wanted a modern, two-colour design with a centralised court layout incorporating the College logo.
We visited the College’s Estates team to photograph and measure the hall, then created a selection of floor colour visuals and court marking layouts to help them choose their preferred design.
We also recommended adding yellow Futsal and Pickleball markings, introducing two popular sports and creating further opportunities for hall hire.
The College approved its chosen design in May and placed the court marking order directly with us. The visuals also enabled their appointed installer, Durant Sports, to calculate and order the flooring materials, which can take up to six weeks to manufacture and ship from France.
Installation was completed in time for line marking to begin on 28 July 2026.
See the transformation
The images show some of the visual options we prepared for the College, the floor being cleaned using our Cleanfix machinery, and the completed court markings and College logo, painted in vibrant colours using Dr. Schutz Sport Line paint.
The result
A striking, contemporary sports hall featuring the latest Taraflex® AE flooring colours, carefully planned court layouts and vibrant branding.
By visualising the design before installation, South Devon College could make confident choices and create a sports facility to be proud of.
