Designing your new sports floor
Visualising a new sports floor can be challenging. We make it easier with an early site meeting involving the Head of PE and Facility Manager, followed by a full-colour, detailed court layout drawing for approval before work begins.

Planning early gives you time to explore flooring options, colours, sports layouts and school branding, helping you make the most of your investment. Our design software includes every Taraflex floor colour and Dr. Schutz Sport line paint colour, allowing us to bring your ideas to life and show you what’s possible before committing.

Maintain, refresh or replace?
We help schools make informed decisions to extend floor life, reduce costs and improve performance. From professional court remarking and recoating at around 10 years to ongoing maintenance advice, we help protect your investment and keep your facility performing at its best.

Does Biddle Sport provide court planning as well as court marking?

Yes. Court planning and court marking are provided together as one complete service. We plan the court layout to suit the facility and its intended use, then carry out the marking to bring that plan to life. We do not provide standalone court layout drawings.

When should court planning take place in a new sports hall project?

Court planning should take place early in the project, ideally before the sports flooring and court marking specifications are finalised. This allows court layouts, dimensions, colours and the intended use of the hall to be properly coordinated, helping avoid conflicts and costly changes later. Biddle Sport provides court planning as part of its complete court marking service.

Can existing sports court lines be remarked, and how do I know when they need renewing?

Faded colours, worn edges, broken lines or markings that are difficult to distinguish are clear signs that remarking is needed. It is also important to review whether the current maintenance regime is adequate. Biddle Sport can assess the markings, floor condition and maintenance practices to recommend the most appropriate solution.
