1. Preparation comes first
A lasting finish begins with a properly prepared surface. Before marking begins, we thoroughly clean the newly installed floor using professional machinery and a pH-neutral Dr. Schutz cleaning solution, followed by a clean-water rinse. This removes surface residue and helps prepare the vinyl for effective paint adhesion.
2. Every line in its place
Accurate court marking starts with careful measurement and setting-out. We mask all lines and circles, using our specialist circle-marking equipment to achieve consistent, clean edges and accurate geometry.
Our process targets line-width accuracy of ±2mm and overall court dimensions within 0.1%, helping ensure each court is clearly defined and ready for play.
3. Specialist paint. Expert application.
We use Dr. Schutz Sport Line, a two-component, water-based paint developed for sports floor line marking. Its adhesion, flexibility and wear resistance make it suitable for the demands of busy sports environments.
Applied by brush and carefully finished with a foam roller, the paint creates crisp, even markings designed to withstand the scuffs and abrasion of regular use. Choosing the right product and applying it correctly helps maintain the appearance and durability of the finished court.
