Court Design & Planning
Great courts start with a conversation.
Court layouts are more than the finishing touch. They shape the way a sports hall looks, feels and performs. By involving Biddle Sport early in the planning process, we help schools make informed decisions, explore design possibilities and get the most from their available space.
From carefully selected court colours and school branding to the sports that bring a hall to life, every detail matters. Our aim is to create distinctive sports floors that reflect each school’s identity and support the needs of its students, staff and wider community.
Designed around your school
Making every space count
Every sports hall has its own requirements. We work with you to understand how the space will be used, which sports are most important and where additional activities could broaden teaching opportunities or increase hire potential.
We follow recommended court dimensions wherever possible. When space is limited, we discuss practical alternatives to help accommodate your priorities while keeping the layout clear and functional.
Your identity. Your sports hall.
A school logo can transform a sports floor into a powerful expression of identity and pride. From students and staff to alumni and visiting teams, it creates a shared sense of belonging every time they step onto the court.
Using specialist court design software, we prepare indicative layouts featuring your school logo, helping you visualise the finished design before work begins.
Logos can be produced using accurately cut stencils and compatible, water-based court marking paints. For more intricate designs, such as detailed crests or coats of arms, printed graphics can be applied and protected with a suitable finish. This allows us to incorporate distinctive branding into your sports floor with care and accuracy.
Whether you envision a prominent centre-court emblem, school colours or a subtle design detail, we’ll help you explore the possibilities and find the right solution for your hall.
A sports floor that does more than define the game. It reflects the school behind it.
