Friars Park Millennium Centre, a piece of Art

The Centre had a Sport England grant to replace their worn out floor and have new markings. They placed the order for the court designing and court marking direct with us and we met them on site to see their existing layout and discuss any changes.

Rosie prepared a court layout drawing in full colour and detail for the Centre to agree prior to work. The actual work was completed in one day and started with vacuuming the floor, cleaning with Sportive cleaning solution and then rinsing the floor with clean water with our Rotowash cleaning machinery. After the centre chalk marks were made and the courts measured out, all lines including circles (with our unique circle masking machine) were masked out to our high standard of accuracy: line width ± 2mm and overall dimensions ± 0.1%. We adopted the standards having been taught 35 years ago by the best line marking company in Holland.

The centre had an amazing Mural and the new blue Taraflex Evolution floor with the various high pigment TLD Aqua line marking paints really set each other off. The CEO of the centre had this to say afterwards:

” The floor looks great, a big thank you from all of us here at Friar Park Millennium Centre. The court markings are amazing and bright and thanks you for the good job of cleaning it first”. Julie Jones, CEO Friar Millennium Centre
