Renovation - for a brighter floor future

The Sports and Hall floors we encounter in Schools often have not been maintained for many years. This gives a wooden floor a bare and dull appearance. Often these floors have scratches, have faded lines and also become very slippery. An inspection and assessment of the floor can give you more insight into this aspect. Renovation is a costly but sustainable investment, which is a major advantage for a wooden floor !

Our specialists first carry out a thorough inspection of your floor. Their findings are then presented in a clear report. Further action can be taken on the basis of these findings and a detailed quotation is provided for any work that is needed with a guide on how you should approach maintenance after the floor has been renovated.

We recently renovated the Granwood tile Sports hall floor and the wood strip Gymnasium and Hall floors at Higham Lane High School. All floors were sanded back to bare wood/ Granwood tile to give a fresh start before sealing with Granguard seal for the Granwood floor and Bona SuperSport/ Bona HD Traffic for the Gymnasium/ School Hall floors as they are the recommended and in our opinion the best quality lacquers available.
